Chinese President Xi Jinping on Thursday called on China and the European Union (EU) to be partners for mutually beneficial cooperation, strengthen two-way political trust, build strategic consensus, cement the bonds of shared interest, steer clear of various kinds of interference, and step up dialogue and cooperation for the good of their people.
A press conference held by the Central Committee of the Communist Party of China (CPC) in Beijing on Friday on the recently concluded fourth plenary session of the 20th CPC Central Committee highlighted the need to raise innovation capacity to lead the development of new quality productive forces.
